What insurance does Dr. Zebel accept?
Dr. Zebel does not accept insurance, she is an out-of-network insurance provider.
However, she will provide you with an invoice for you to submit to your insurance provider for direct reimbursement to you.
While Dr. Zebel is not a medical doctor, does she work with a psychiatrist or other physician who manaegs the medication?
Some patients who see Dr. Zebel have already been prescribed medication by their psychiatrist or other physician. Other patients prefer to try psychotherapy first without medication. Dr. Zebel will refer out to a psychiatrist either upon a patient’s request for a medication trial or when deemed medically necessary.
Does Dr. Zebel have a cancellation policy?
Yes, a grace period is provided for missing one appointment or canceling one appointment within 24 hours. After this grace period, missed appointments or canceled appointments within 24 hours will be billed the full fee.
In cases of emergency, does Dr. Zebel have an ‘on-call’ system?
Yes. Patients are directed to call 911 or to go to the nearest emergency room should a crisis arise. Upon arrival to the emergency room, patients are asked if they have a treatment provider. Patients will provide her name and telephone number. The attending physician/psychiatrist will notify her of the patient’s condition and course of treatment.
